Starbound Beta is out.

I know our little community has become sorta scattered, but four pack anyone?

Watched some video's of it. It looks good, definetly if we can get some people for this.

Playing it, but i'm still learning the ropes.

and somehow I joined a server, is someone hosting?

Edit: After quitting the server Logging in and interacting with something, then logging out caused my game to crash it an access violation error...
Damn, this game is very buggy.

Yeah I have a server up, so far it's just been me and a buddy and we didn't even spawn on the same planet. This game crashes every time I close it with that access violation error shit, and whats worse it doesn't actually close when that happens. Ctrl+alt+del and you'll see the process still running, which in turn can cause the game not to update right when there's a patch. I tend to just leave the game open all day to avoid this.

There's supposed to be a patch coming out today that will change the weapons/armor system to be more Diablo like with DPS displayed instead of trying to make sense of armor rating, damage and swing speed. The downside is it will almost certainly require a character reset. Hence I'm not really bothering to play until then. But once it's patched, the server will be back up and anyone is welcome. merp.mooo.com will of course work, but I also set up starbound.mooo.com
