Why do people like this game?

I've tried playing it over and over on PC and xbox (orange box) over and over and cannot find this game fun at all. Why is it so popular? Why do people find it so fun?

... I dunno. Never played TF2. I just... wanted to post.

Mods make it extremely fun, don't like the game mode? hop on another server. Also HP actually matters in the game, and can +/- (depends on your loadout and class) to increase attack damage. There is a lot of thinking to be done on this game, its not as it seems at the beginning, YES you will get pwned at the pawn shop the first time you try to figure things out, but that's the challenge, as you get better and better the game becomes more and more fun.
