I've just upgraded my internet, however the IP changed again. Going forward, you should be able to connect to the server using the URL sirrus86.mooo.com whether the IP changes or not.

Whenever I try to join I end up floating through the world and being unable to send messages.

The message in the console when you logged in stated something along the lines of "took too long to log in". From what I researched my internet could be to blame; I recently had to downgrade to slower internet.

However other people who have been on the server before don't have this problem, so I'm hoping it will resolve itself eventually, just keep trying to log in from time to time. We miss ya buddy!

Looks like Christmas came early for the server.

Turns out the staff at Spigot were gracious enough to update Bukkit to 1.8 on their own.

I've already tested it. You log in where you last logged off, all inventories (player, chests, ender chests, etc) remain intact, and I didn't find any corruption whatsoever.

I've already installed the ChopTree, Multiverse and MyHome plugins. These plugins were also tested and, despite being outdated, work fine. This means we can create additional worlds and add other plugins, however I'd prefer to keep the server as vanilla as possible.

On an unrelated note, I'm no longer looking to create a new server as I believe I've resolved the timeout issue (apparently I had allocated too much memory to MC, go figure). I don't think anyone donated but if you did let me know and I can refund you.

Also a word of caution to everyone, it appears that the survival map may have some corruption. Random blocks are disappearing and/or regenerating, and even when replaced/removed will continue to disappear/reappear. Fortunately it appears to only affect y<=10 and chunk x=0, 1, 14 & 15, and doesn't appear to have affected anything above-ground. It's currently unknown when the block changes occur, but my guess is it probably started when we moved to Bukkit.

Started building this in the creative world at 0,0. I think I said I was going to do this a year or two ago. It's a bit overdue...


Originally I had made this, but then I realized that it was way too big to mount on the tower, so I had to scale it back a bit.

Thanks. I know the /give, /summon, and /time commands (and command blocks) can be a bit cheaty... but they'd be pretty useful for banners and firework displays (and much, much more) here in the creative world. Is there a way we can enable 1.8 commands without worry of them causing too much havoc to the server?

Yeah I can enable those commands in creative, just be careful with command blocks, I think they bypass permissions so don't use like /stop or anything.

Oh, and last time I tried to use a command block for anything I got an error: "Command blocks are not enabled on this server".

I don't think I can play minecraft anymore, thing has been glitching the ever living **** out of itself, and I can't seem to find a solution, even with reinstalling java

may have figured out the whole game screen glitching out, Seems like my integrated graphic processor is using the Intel(R) HD Graphics 4600, instead of the Nvidia GeForce GTX 860M, makes me actually wonder if intel is garbage... either that, or my laptop just went full retard when selecting which processors to use instead.

There is a blizzard headed to my area starting tonight. I may lose power which means the server would go offline. If this happens I'll bring it back on as soon as I can.
